Hi, I'm Kareen! I hold a Bachelor's Degree in Music and have been teaching music for 15 years, with experience in Taiwan, Malaysia and Singapore.
Over the years, I've taught students from beginners to advanced levels, each with different learning needs and goals. Lessons are planned according to each student's learning pace, with a focus on music reading, technique and strong musical foundations.
Whether preparing for examinations, performances or simply learning for enjoyment, I believe it's important for students to understand what they're playing, rather than just playing the right notes. Regular practice and consistent effort are also important.
Beyond lessons and examinations, music is something students can carry with them throughout their lives.
Lessons are available in English, Mandarin and Cantonese.
